The day started with a great panel on "Ukraine. Visioning how Asset Recovery will look" followed by a reflection on the current state of Sanctions and what is coming up.
Julien Artero spoke on a panel about Technology and Investigations with Charles Brown from Blackdot Solutions and Roman Bieda from Coinfirm and explained how technology is now fundamental to the work of financial crime investigators, asset recovery and compliance professionals. He said that "At the heart of asset recovery and investigations you have data, but data is not going to solve the problem on its own. You need a combination of rich data, AI ML technology, contextualisation, and sophisticated end users".
